Hi, I am Leven — welcome to my website. Here, you will find information about me, projects I have been involved in, and occasional posts about my work and interests. My journey began with a high school internship at the OpenLab at Helmut Schmidt University. After that, I started leading workshops on digital fabrication for FabCity Hamburg and worked externally on technical builds. After graduation, I took a position at OpenLab Mobile, a mobile FabLab dedicated to teaching digital fabrication to companies and high schools. There, I was able to develop my skills in hands-on teaching further and widen my knowledge about digital fabrication and open source hardware. When I received the offer to work as a student assistant at the New Production Institute (NPI) at Helmut Schmidt University, I eagerly accepted the opportunity. Since then, I have worked on multiple projects for FabCity Hamburg and OpenLab, both of which are part of the NPI. During my time at the NPI, I embarked on a journey in spring 2025 to Spain and Finland, where I visited various FabLabs and Maker Spaces to learn about different working environments in FabLabs. Additionally, I had the opportunity to give a guest lecture at ENIT University in Tunis. Starting in summer 2025, I will begin my studies in mechatronics — a new chapter that I am very much looking forward to!
