Tunis: Makers, Culture & Collaboration
Discovering the vibrant maker scene in Tunisia.

My journey to Tunis opened my eyes to a thriving maker community in North Africa. I visited several makerspaces and innovation hubs, where I met passionate individuals working on projects ranging from robotics to traditional crafts. The blend of modern technology and rich cultural heritage was truly inspiring.
Collaboration was at the heart of every space I visited. Makers in Tunis are eager to share knowledge and resources, and I was welcomed into workshops and discussions about open source, sustainability, and education. The experience broadened my perspective and sparked ideas for future international collaborations.
I left Tunis with new friends, a deeper appreciation for the local culture, and a renewed motivation to connect maker communities across borders.
